The office concept "ready made" was designed by Ben Dieckmann as part of an internal office competition and used for a product design by "Vitra". Based on the existing "Metropol" product line, a new office design was to be developed that simultaneously retained the original functions. 
The result is the "Terminal" office system, which is characterised above all by its ergonomics and modularity. The tables are equipped with a large number of individually addable storage elements and are height-adjustable. The concept enables relaxed and productive working and turns offices into places where people feel comfortable and enjoy staying. 
The DAX companies Lufthansa and Henkel have introduced "Terminal" as the worldwide standard for their office systems.
