Openness and width characterize the floor plan of the single-family house in Dortmund. The ground floor is one room structured by two split levels on three levels. Each level is assigned its own function. Entrance, living and kitchen levels merge seamlessly into one another and are connected by steps. The different heights create an exciting and diversified room layout.

An air space remains above the dining area, allowing the height of the ground and upper floor to be experienced. The upper floor accommodates the more private rooms. Floor-to-ceiling windows on the garden side create both openness and privacy in the rooms.
