a place to remember
On the site of a country estate in central Italy, the cultural history of the region is to be told with a burial chamber built in the hills. The Etruscans, an ancient people of northern central Italy, had a decisive influence on the cultural and landscape development around Lake Bolsena in the 1st century BC.
Their culture is known above all for its characteristic cemeteries and graves. Surrounded by olive trees and built into the slope, the design of the burial chamber is based on the architectural language of the traditional Etruscan tombs and at the same time makes it usable as a chapel.
