"Tower 2" is the design for a 5-star hotel of the Grand Hyatt brand in Frankfurt's new Europaviertel. The hotel consists of three solitary structures: the hotel high-rise, the hotel plinth and the congress centre. The independent structures are connected by a glass entrance hall and pedestrian bridges.

The basic architectural idea of the hotel building is the dissolution of the volumes into narrow structures lying to the sides of a central joint. The separation of the high-rise building into two panes with the development located in the joint between the panes is also the main idea for the functional and development concept of the hotel

For a closed external appearance, glazing of the entire facade is again planned. The façade thus appears on the long sides as a completely glazed screen, which protrudes slightly beyond the edges of the building at the sides and at the top and bottom. The high proportion of glazing is concealed by means of continuous printing, creating privacy for hotel guests instead of full transparency.
